SHINee 샤이니 - Lucifer (Robotaki Remix)
I’m back home (as of yesterday) from Asia and the second I heard SHINee’s latest releases I knew that a Lucifer mix HAD to be done. The beat and choreography in the original kick sooooo much ass haha. After an all-nighter due to the jetlag, here’s what I came up with! I aimed at intensifying the bass and beat, adding new harmonies, and making things more devilish sounding lol. Everything seems really rusty in the music department so working on the track this morning has helped bring back some old methods. I hope I haven’t lost too much in terms of production. There’s also a melody brought in from Royksopp’s “Only This Moment” around 3:30. Enjoy!
I also want to thank Kavinsky and the Record Makers Label for picking my “Nightcall” remix in the contest. It was really big news for me when I was bumming around in Tibet and is even bigger now that I see things falling into place. The contract has been signed and track mastered, so stay tuned for the digital release of my mix on iTunes very soon!
