Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - Score Remix Contest Submission

My latest (and possible last) entry to Indaba Music contests, this time being for the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - Score Remix Contest.  I still gotta see the movie, but I wanted to recreate the video game setting the director chose, along with the “seriousness not to be taken seriously” type comedy through this track. I’ve used the SFX and vocals from the original but have revamped the source entirely using old NES video games fused with orchestral samples, cheesy SFX, and some funky bass guitar + percussion. The scene I’ve created begins with Scott playing an old pinball machine at an arcade, when suddenly Patel bursts right stage to initiate a fight. The funky fight ensues and after some time, ends with a crushing blow by Scott to Patel. Hope you enjoy my eclectic entry! Was a blast working on this seriously.
